A leaflet entitled Hampstead Garden Suburb; 'Programme of the coming of age celebrations'. Dated June 23rd-30th 1928, The Leaflet is printed in blue and green ink on a cream background. The illustration shows a dancing female figure in blue in the foreground, and a church, presumably St. Jude's in green in the background. lllustrated by [London or Lendon] signature can be found in righthand corner of print. Edited by William Loftus Hare, printed by The Doulton Press. The event was presided over by Neville Chamberlain and Vice presidents including Henrietta Barnett; Mrs George Cadbury; G. Montague Harris; Sir Edwin Lutyens; Raymond Unwin. There is a list of general organising committee including organisers of exhibitions, hospitality, music and drama, publicity and finance, sports and processions. The contents then lists a forward by the editor, outline of programme of events, the full programme, exhibition, and words of the principle community songs. The booklet contains black and white photographic illustrations of views of Hampstead Garden Suburb. It also contains advertisments from local services. Condition is good, although yellow card is adhered to back page. Originally LBM3224.
