Content description
Ten male figures are seated, outdoors on chairs, opposite each other in pairs. Between each pair is a table with a chess board and chess pieces set-up. They are all wearing suit jackets and trousers. Three of the men are wearing light coloured, trilby style hats, whilst others have placed their hats on the floor by their sides. Surrounding the group is garden, with many flowering plants and shrubs, and in the background a building can be seen.
