Brief description
A pencil design for an ornamental key by Barry Parker. The key is in a decorative arts and craft style and takes a simple barrel key form with a cylindrical shaft and single rectanglar tooth or bit. The shaft is decorated with a twisting spiral and double band. The head of the key shows a female nude seated in a curved seat with what appears to be a pick axe resting beside her. Underneath her seat is a scrolled column which sits above the shaft.
