Black and white photograph of Miss Margaret Fowles standing with dog outside Briarside Cottage (later Netherton) on Hitchin Road. Miss Fowles was one of the Garden City's earliest residents, and founded and conducted the Garden City Choral and Orchestral Society. She died on August 6th 1907. Briarside Cottage was designed by Parker and Unwin, c. 1905.
