Photograph of Laneside and Crabby Corner
Black and white photograph of Laneside and Crabby Corner (now both Arunside) on Letchworth Lane, designed by Parker and Unwin, and built 1904-1905.
1905 - 1913
The photograph shows the house as seen from the garden to the front of the building. Raymond Unwin lived in Laneside until 1906, and the Pearsalls lived in Crabby Corner until 1906, when Barry Parker moved in. Parker lived at Crabby Corner until 1937, and added a sleeping tower in 1913. There is no sleeping tower in the photograph which dates it to between 1905 and 1913.
