Content description
This is a sandal for the right foot. It has a toe thong, extended to ankle strap and fastened with an iron buckle. The soles are stitched and heel nailed. It is based on a pattern from Kashmir, India.
According to the book: Back to the Land by Jan Marsh these belonged to Edith Booth, local teacher and relative of Raymond Unwin.
